OUR INSPIRATION

From sunset to snowy summit.

Sunset orange, the plains beneath an acacia and the glacier blue of a snowy summit. Tanvoya’s logo brings them together, reflecting our idea of travel: freedom, discovery and a connection between people and places.

Start with safari, a Kilimanjaro trek or cultural encounters. Explore the possibilities, then outline a trip around your time, interests and budget.

Sharing a safari sunset with travellers.

My name is Renatus, a Tanzanian Driver Guide with over 10 years of experience across all of Tanzania — from Serengeti and Ngorongoro to Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and the South. I speak English and French fluently.

A passion that began in childhood

My passion started as a boy. Growing up near the parks, I would watch the Land Cruisers pass and dream of being the one showing people the elephants and lions. When I first held the steering wheel in the Serengeti and saw a client’s eyes light up at their first lion, I knew this was my life.

Taking care of every traveller

What I love most is not just driving and animals — it’s taking care of my clients. Making them safe, making them laugh, helping them get the perfect photo, and showing them the real Tanzania beyond the parks — the villages, the food, the people of Tanzania.

For me, every safari is a new friendship.
